What is Eagles Rendezvous?

Eagles Rendezvous (ER) is a Bible study ministry of Eagles Communications that reaches out to Christians.

A specific biblical book is studied in cycles, each cycle lasting six to seven weeks. Led by trained leaders of Eagles Communications, these studies are designed to be informal and interactive, with emphasis on the application of the biblical text to the pressing issues of life today.

Original study notes will guide group members through the process of understanding and applying the Bible. The biblical text will be examined inductively with the following questions addressed sequentially: "What does it say?", "What does it mean?" and "How does it apply to us now?"

You will be spiritually enriched and empowered by:

  • Understanding and appreciating the Bible
  • Learning fresh insights from theologically trained teachers
  • Covering systematically OT and NT books, especially difficult passages
  • Applying yourself to the truths of God's word in own life's situations and circumstances
  • Using the OIA method of Bible study - Observation, Interpretation & Application.

Eagles Communications is committed to teaching the Word intentionally and relevantly to help us experience the Word for ourselves. We seek to build a community of biblically-minded followers of Christ.

Upcoming Cycle

Adventure, political intrigue, military strategy, romance, and family scandals these are the stories of the Old Testament. The OT is filled with important lessons for the modern Christian; yet beyond gleaning lessons from some well-known episodes (David and Goliath?) believers are often clueless as to the teachings in various other OT books, and the OT’s timeline and historical setting.

Join this series to:

1. Know the five divisions of the OT books.
2. Understand the theme, structure, and main content of each OT book.
3. Be familiar with the chronology (timeline), historical background and geography of the OT.
4. Learn lessons on discipleship from the main characters.

Ms Seah Jiak Choo, Advisor, Ministry of Education is the former Director-General of Education. Since her retirement in 2009 she has completed a Master of Arts (Theology) program at Fuller Theological Seminary, USA. She enjoys hiking, reading, and most of all, teaching.
